a burst of colour

What first enticed me to Kasaa's stationery was the knack with which patterned and multi-coloured papers were combined in a way that was cohesive yet visually stimulating at the same time. One signature style of Kathrin (the brain behind the work) seems to be the accordion-styled file, which she does with much aplomb.

silk opulence

I'm not usually too into really feminine stuff, but I'm really liking these delicate pillows from B Studio. The pillows cases are made from silk and each come with special detailing in the form of silk ribbon embroidery for that extra texture and feel. Other than pillows for the home, there are also a selection that is perfect for that special wedding.

hey there plini

What's a Plini you may ask? Well these darlings above from Magic Bean Buyer, or Plinis as they are called, are little figurines of slightly over 2 inches tall that have been hand sculpted, painted and sealed. They each come with something a little different atop their pretty little heads, from desserts to animals to teacups and mushrooms!

objects of affection

Kate Seaward of I like Pens is one talented illustrator, with her use of birds, tea, and other whimsical objects to make such signature cards and notebooks. These are just some of the things available at her online shop, but if you are like me and can't get enough of Kate's work, you can find more of her collection of drawings on her site.

starkly does it

I admire the way each individual component (the beautiful wall art and that dress!) was cleverly combined and the manipulation of light for that moody, poetic effect.

felt treats

Just a sample of some interesting stuff that are the products of each felt artist's interpretation of a simple yet versatile base. Creativity goes a long long way!

do re mi

I'm happy to introduce the work of Flora Douville, a freelance illustrator and artist based in London. I found a series of prints of her soothing watercolour paintings in her etsy shop, each with their own letter of the alphabet and corresponding animal. For more of her work, you can view her entire portfolio on her website. And she blogs too!

healthier than your average diet

Adoration Soap has such delicious and healthy-sounding soap types, that you might actually feel healthier after stepping out from a bath with these soaps. Some interesting varieties I've found (clockwise from top left): (1) Watermelon; (2) Land of Milk and Honey; (3) Lychee and Red Tea; (4) Yuzu Fruit soap.

and the animals go round and round

Acrylic rings with animals perched on them? Who would have thought it would be such a lethal combination, as evidenced by these rings from Soop. It's so creative, you can even combine various rings to form your very own animal-themed landscape (eg bottom right). Coolness.

new every morning

What a great way to start a day, and not just on a Monday!

soft hues and dreamscapes

I'm liking the soft lighting and the element of dreaminess in this shot.

the notebook hoarder

If you are an avid notebook/journal hoarder like myself (i confess!), then you will definitely appreciate the effort that goes into putting together a notebook that is not just functional but is also distinct in aesthetics. The journals and address books by Imoss are all handsewn and handbound and come with such inviting fabric covers to boot.

inspiration and illustration

Gemma Correll is an established illustrator and a maker of other crafty things. You can take a look at her extensive portfolio of work on her website. She has such a distinct hand, particularly with the way she draws her human objects, and her preference for whimsical objects and settings.

ping pong crazy

Now I know this might not be exactly on point, but I'm quite excited at the moment, because Singapore is headed for its first table tennis medal! It's been 48 long years without an Olympic medal to its name and it was today on Friday that Singapore won South Korea is a nail-biting semi-finals match that lasted 3 and a half hours long. (and had me screaming my lungs out almost throughout too)

Taddie (the uber cute ping pong ball cozy available in many different colours from Tadworks) seems like a good strategy for the underdogs for this Sunday's finals against Goliath China. I quote "Taddie is sure to bring you and your team a good luck to win that crucial game by fooling your opponent with the irresisitable cuteness."

best served raw, roar!

Marilyn is the owner of Pulp Sushi, a blog that I adore and enjoy reading regularly. She's also the creative mind behind the jewelry store of the same name. With her fun accessories and their colourful palette, I had to feature her as a matter of course.

Some of my favourites, clockwise from left: (1) Victorian Lady Brooch; (2) Batgirl Hairpins: (3) I (heart) Paris necklace; (4) Sushi Roll Necklace.

stamping madness

I just happened to stumble onto Yellow Owl Workshop's website and noticed that they had new limited edition stamp sets in store. And I'm glad I did! Each stamp set contains 5 stamps that can be used collectively to create a full landscape, or individually in any way you please. Stamping just got more creative on a whole new level. (Landscape Stamp Set above, Seascape Stamp Set below).

Absolutely Delish is on Flickr!

Okay so we did it. We have taken the plunge and created a Flickr group just for your submissions on Absolutely Delish. If you would like your crafts and other stuff to be considered for a feature, simply upload your photos into our group and we promise to consider everything in the pool. The group's looking a bit bare at the moment but do spread the word to all your talented friends and budding entrepreneurs.

(And I do believe that this marks our 100th post. Hooray for milestones!)

feeling kinda bubbly

There's something about the fleetingness of this moment, that makes this picture ever so precious.

vinyl vinyl and lots of vinyl

These retro-styled vinyl pouches and card cases from Milis' Creations are so delightfully bright and eye-catching, I don't think you will ever have the problem of not being able to locate them from the depths of your bag! Seems like an added bonus to its already convenient size and funky design.
