a fresh serenity
Professional photographer Jennifer of Jennifer Squires Productions recently emailed me about her new range photographs taken in Greece. I like how she manages to capture the unique architectural landscape of Greece in a soft, romantic light. Her website and etsy shop here.

my kingdom for a bag
Fashion and photography do go hand in hand, as Oh So Retro does with great effect. And oh for these bags that are my current faves, the Isobelle Shaped Purse in Celery Green Damask (above-most) and the Yellow Confetti Pleated Wristlet and Card Case Set (just above).

If you are as attached to your laptop as I am to mine, then you will certainly love these Macbook Envelopes from Fernfiddlehead. Carry around your precious laptop in pride, knowing that they are safely tucked away in their pretty padded cases.

ceramic sentiments
It's a lovely public holiday today, which makes me rather relaxed and kind of vacation-y. What better way to relax than feasting your eyes upon these handpainted and kiln-fired ceramic creations by Say Your Piece? These miniature dishes would make a lovely decoration piece, or if you can bear to, as soap dishes. (It will certainly entice you to wash your hands with soap a lot more!)

utter gorgeousness
Has it been a week since I last blogged? I've been so swarmed with work (and still am) but upon seeing the email from Emma Gordon about her latest autumn/winter collection I just had to throw work aside and tell you about it. I love her choice of colours and fabrics, and the little touches added to make her bags stand out. I've seen some of her bags in real life and they are as pretty as they look! Oh, and she's having a 20% winter sale and free worldwide shipping.

tingling fingers
Looking at the detail of these, I initially thought they were cuff bracelets/bangles but then I realised they were actually rings! And each tiny acrylic ring has its amazing level of detail by a process of stamping with waterproof ink. By Dillon Designs.

cuteness in small packages
Wunderkind has all these unique ornaments and toys with a Japanese flavour that really sets it apart. A special range is their Keshi ornaments, which are handpainted, wood miniatures (top row, right and bottom row, left). There are also adorable wooden magnets like the Matryoshka Bear (top left) that comes with its own decorated tin. Oh, and a wooden jumping jack bunny! (bottom right).

shiny happy creatures
Regular blogging resumes!
Love these pieces from Tummyache by Julie Knoblock. I am enticed by the earthy tones, the quirky statements and the way her strokes seem to flow and ebb. Top-most: You have all the Treasure; and just above: Happiness (pink).

post vacation laziness
Know the feeling after a nice little vacay in which you did absolutely nothing and just chilled? Yes, you don't really feel like getting back into the normal swing of things right away, like I'm feeling now. But I promise to get right back to normal blogging real soon! As soon as I erm, laze around just a bit more.

do not offend your food
How adorable are these angry-looking food items from Bittersweet Friends? It's as though they are offended that they are labelled as 'cute', but their expressions only serve to make them even more appealing. Have an angry food yourself, with a choice of it as a brooch, magnet or keychain.

a little french flair
Mademoiselle G has some fantastic prints of her pen and ink drawings of aristocratic ladies and gentlemen. They are beautifully done with just the right amount of quirkiness and reminds me of the days of the french revolution.
She also has several halloween themed drawings in store, like the postcard below.
