Alta Notecards, as its name suggests, specialises in making notecards that are suitable for all occasions. They are colourful without being too cute, and striking in their own uniquely abstract way. My favourite at the moment is the Partridge Notecard (just above), which would definitely appeal to whoever you may be sending your Christmas greetings to.

a little bird told me
The endearing-ness of bird images - Designs by Vanessa has some really great gift tags and cards that look so simple yet delightfully so. My favourite part of it are the cards that have the bird appliques made from beautiful fabric pieces and sewn onto the card. It would be hard to not keep it for yourself!

a burst of colour
What first enticed me to Kasaa's stationery was the knack with which patterned and multi-coloured papers were combined in a way that was cohesive yet visually stimulating at the same time. One signature style of Kathrin (the brain behind the work) seems to be the accordion-styled file, which she does with much aplomb.
Clockwise from left: (1) Small handmade accordion file folder; (2) Turquois paper wallet with cute little red birds; (3) Sticker Set - Girl with speechbubble; (4) Red mini airmail travel journal with Airmail sticker

the notebook hoarder
If you are an avid notebook/journal hoarder like myself (i confess!), then you will definitely appreciate the effort that goes into putting together a notebook that is not just functional but is also distinct in aesthetics. The journals and address books by Imoss are all handsewn and handbound and come with such inviting fabric covers to boot.

even cute doesn't do this justice
I would love to receive one of these bright and cheery cards with their fancy little appliques, wouldn't you? I believe they are sewn with felt, and there are plenty more interesting types in store. From Yumstie Tree. Ooo yummy!

paper and trees
Nifty little notebooks are an absolute essential to record thoughts and reminders, and are made especially appealing when they are made out of recycled materials - so it's practical and environmentally friendly too. The pages in these cute notebooks from Subu are made from discarded printer paper, so they may have images or words on one side. Sounds interesting to me to never know what you may find when you flip a page!

vintage-y swatches
If you are a fan of vintage images and unorthodox paper goods, then Art School Girl is the perfect place for you. I went ga-ga over their range of cards that incorporate original vintage book-clippings, and their note sets with envelopes made from the pages of vintage books. Also pictured, bookmarks made with vintage book art (top right), and the perpetual datebook calender (bottom left), featuring a different modified vintage image for each month.
