I would love to receive one of these bright and cheery cards with their fancy little appliques, wouldn't you? I believe they are sewn with felt, and there are plenty more interesting types in store. From Yumstie Tree. Ooo yummy!

that element of surprise
Alma Stoller has some fascinating zines that have been hand assembled and made up of mixed media collages. You can even find fabric and beads tucked in between the pages!
She also has various handicraft kits like the Mixed Media Oddities Kit (above) that contains an assortment of papers and beads. Great for class projects or for challenging yourself to craft something with only its contents.

just like candy
Fatally Feminine really means as its name suggests! Ultimate girliness is contained in all their little jewelry pieces, each with their own cute charms for a fun touch. My personal favourite is the Summer Strawberry Picnic Charm Bracelet (bottom left), as all the attached charms are strawberry themed!

paper and trees
Nifty little notebooks are an absolute essential to record thoughts and reminders, and are made especially appealing when they are made out of recycled materials - so it's practical and environmentally friendly too. The pages in these cute notebooks from Subu are made from discarded printer paper, so they may have images or words on one side. Sounds interesting to me to never know what you may find when you flip a page!

a rose a day to keep the blues at bay
Here's something to ooh over on this otherwise dreary monday! Would you believe that these lovely rose pieces from Atelier de Soyun are skillfully twirled and twisted from ribbons? Yes, and their uses range from brooches and pins to tags and key chains. You can also make special requests on the colour you desire for the individual rose pins.

staring down the seconds
Even counting down time by watching the clock can be a fun affair with these handmade designs from Vertikker. The simplicity and minimalism of its shape means it will go well with a modern home without cluttering up the wall, but the choice of backgrounds mean you will definitely find a design that fits your personality or preferred theme.

what wood would
For the love of miniatures, there are these well-made, all natural wood toys and figurines by Woodmouse Loves Wood. All the items are made by one very talented woman, from the design to the cutting and burning processes. And what delightful forms these miniatures are in, like the miniature mixer and gumball machines!

light lighting lit
I'm liking the idea of light switch covers, especially when it comes with such vibrant pictures! Joanna Goldman has been making them for over 3 years, and you can request for any of the available print designs in her shop to be converted into a light switch cover. A great idea if you are running out of space for prints but still want that coveted design on your wall. Her etsy shop here.

tempting threads
I admire people who have a way with fabric, like Kendall of Tootie Estelle. All her items are handmade from original patterns, and vary extensively from homewares such as pillows and coasters, to lavender sachets and eye pillows, to bags and pouches. And with such charming fabric too!
Clockwise from top left: (1) Green and Blue Coriander Eye Pillow; (2) Purple Leaves Pleated Clutch; (3) Dancing Rose Cosmetic Bag; (4) Pretty in Pink Coasters.

stop playing with your food
With these special handpainted plates from Tasica Singleton, meal times will never be a bore! Even the blandest food would be more than palatable, as you hurry to gobble it down fast enough to give you more time to admire the poetry and artwork on these dinnerware pieces.

the right accent
Having a social event coming up has made me ponder about bag choices, and the pretty clutches from Muchacha K come to mind as being perfect for a night out (like the one on the right). The clutches are custom made designs so you may take your pick of fabric from available design. On the left are fabric jewelry rolls intended for safekeeping precious accessories, but I dare say they would make pretty purses too!

well, hello there!
Claire Payne is one talented felt artist, with her cute take on felt plushies, keychains, brooches and ipod cases. I cannot for one, resist the cheeky grins of her 'fruity faces' (above) and her miniature russian dolls for brooches.
